Did you know, who invented Pythagoras Theorem first time ? He was an Indian Mathematician Baudhyana

Baudhayana
was the Indian Mathematician born around 800BC, who proved the theorem. He mentioned in his book "Baudhyana Sulbhasutra". A rope stretched along the length of the diagonal of a rectangle and squares made on sides and diagonals. The sum of areas of the squares made on sides is equal to the area of square made on diagonal. Since the diagonal of a rectangle is the hypotenuse of the right triangle formed by two adjacent sides. The statement is equivalent to the Pythagoras Theorem.

Pythagoras was a Greek Philosopher born around 540BC. He states that in a right-angled triangle, the square of the hypotenuse is equal to the sum of the squares of the other two sides.
